It also gives the hiring committee a pretty accurate profile of what a candidate will do under pressure. This makes the process clean and neat and keeps an interviewee from falling into an endless cycle of re-doing responses. I liked the way that the online interview closely mirrored a real interview: you get one chance to answer a question and there are no do-overs.
